Medium green, broad flat 5½” (14 cm) pods. These Italian snap beans grow and produce an abundant yield of delicious and tender beans on low spreading plants. Culture: Any good well drained soil with a pH above 6 will grow beans. Beans do not tolerate cool wet soil. After soil reaches at least 50° F, sow seed 4″ (10 cm) apart, 1″ (2.5 cm) deep in rows 24″–36″ (60–90 cm) apart. Thinning is not necessary. For continuous supply, plant every 3 weeks until July 15th. Harvest: Maturity 55 days. Pick regularly when young to encourage new pod set. Nutrition: Good source of protein, dietary fiber, vitamins A and C.
