Culture: Any good well-drained soil with a pH above 6 will grow beans. Beans do not tolerate cool wet soil. After last frost date, soil approximately 50°F, sow seed 2″ apart, 1″ deep in rows 24″-36″ apart. Thinning is not necessary. For continuous supply plant every three weeks until July 15th. Harvest: Maturity 52 days. Pick regularly when young to encourage new pod set. Nutrition: Good source of protein, dietary fiber, vitamins A and C. Preserving: Can or freeze.
