A no-string, high yield green bean produces long straight, consistent 5″ pods with rich flavor. Absolutely no fiber or strings. Plants are sturdy and erect. Culture: Any good well drained soil with a pH above 6 will grow beans. Beans do not tolerate cool wet soil. After last frost date soil approximately 50°, sow seed 2″ (5 cm) apart, 1″ (2.5 cm) deep in rows 24″–36″ (60–90 cm) apart. Thinning is not necessary. For continuous supply, plant every 3 weeks until July 15th. Harvesting: Maturity 53 days. Pick regularly when young to encourage new pod set. Nutrition: Good source of protein, dietary fiber, vitamins A and C.
