Also known as mustard and cress, garden pepper cress, pepperwort, pepper grass, or poor man’s pepper. Native to the Middle East, cress has been cultivated in that region since approximately 400 BC. This slow-bolting garden Cress produces plants with dark-green finely cut, curled leaves with a peppery, tangy flavor and aroma. Use the young leaves of this mustard family member for adding zing to salads.
