Produce very large crop of edible pod snow peas. Highly disease resistant. Plants produce a high percentage of two pods per cluster. Vigorous 28″ vines bear 4½” (12 cm) long pods. Culture: Peas do best in rich, light moisture retentive soil, will not thrive in water logged or very dry soil. Sow seeds early spring and autumn 2″ (5 cm) apart, 2″ (5 cm) deep in rows 3′ (90 cm) apart. Peas do not tolerate very hot weather. Harvest: Stringless at 47 (10 cm) continuous picking of young pods encourages new pod set. Mild resistance aids to permit fall harvest. Sweet pods freeze well. Nutrition: Good source of vitamins A and C, minerals and fiber.
