Fun to grow, requires considerable space. Small round pumpkins with flattened ends, very fine quality 6″ x 7″ diameter (15 cm x 18 cm), 6-8 lbs., thick sweet orange-yellow fine grained flesh. Excellent for pies and canning as well as Jack O’ Lanterns. Edible seeds. Good keeper. Culture: Sow seed in fertile warm soil, full sun. Plant in groups (hills) 5’-8’ apart. Firm soil over seed and keep moist. Weed and water regularly. Harvest: Cut from the vine, leaving 3″ (7.5 cm) of stem when skin is hard. Nutrition: Rich in vitamin A and some minerals.
