Large, 7-8 oz. globe shaped fruits of exceptional eating quality. Smooth, uniform, ripens to dark red, meaty. This mid-early 1984 AAS Winner will produce under a broad range of conditions. Vigorous, disease resistant plants producing flavorful fruit all season long. Culture: Sow seeds indoors 8 weeks before transplant, after all danger of frost has passed. Set plants out by gradually exposing them to the outdoors or air about a week (hardening), plant 2″-3″ (5-7.5 cm) apart in full sun. Water regularly and fertilize often. Harvest: Pick carefully when richly colored and firm, but before fruits begin to soften. Nutrition: Rich in calcium, iron, vitamins A and C.
