Culture: Sow seed indoors 3-4 weeks before planting time. Transplant after soil warms; or sow outdoors, when air temperature warms to 70° in fertile, well-drained soil. Leave 18″ (45 cm) between plants and water the soil surrounding the plants, not the plants themselves. Prefers morning watering on sunny days. Heat and drought tolerant. Deadhead spent blooms.
