Exceptional yield. Most reliable of the bush varieties with large greenish white seeds, large flat pods, 3–4 beans per pod. 16″–20″ (40–50 cm) plants. Plants are sturdy and erect. Culture: Any good well drained soil with a pH above 6 will grow beans. Beans do not tolerate cool wet soil. After last frost date soil approximately 50° F, sow seed 2″ (5 cm) apart, 1″ (2.5 cm) deep in rows 24″–36″ (60–90 cm) apart. Harvest: Maturity 75 days. For fresh beans the pods should be picked when mature and the seeds have swelled, but before the pods turn yellow. For shell beans, after pods turn yellow, harvest whole plant, hang upside down in well ventilated area to dry. Nutrition: Good source of protein, dietary fiber, vitamins, A and C.
