Compact, productive plants. The pods themselves are not generally eaten. Small, flat, green when fresh, white when dry. Culture: Any good well drained soil with a pH above 6 will grow beans. Beans do not tolerate cool wet soil. Thinning is not necessary. For continuous supply, plant every 3 weeks until July 15. Harvest: Maturity 60–75 days. Dry, can or freeze as well as fresh cooked. Nutrition: Good source of protein, dietary fiber, vitamins A and C.
