Culture: Start indoors 9–10 weeks before planting time. Sprinkle seeds over dampened growing medium. Tamp them into place – do not bury them. Cover container with plastic film, water from the bottom, keep warm and in full sun. Do not let them dry out. At 2½” (6.25 cm) tall, transplant into peat pots. After soil and weather has warmed, harden them off before transplanting to the garden; or sow seeds outdoors – press seed softly into soil, cover lightly with spagnum peat moss. Keep plants watered throughout the season. Uses: Where spring bulbs have expired, beds, borders, mass plantings and containers.
