This pumpkin plant can produce some of the largest pumpkins in the world. This variety has been a past winner for the world record size of 1,810 lbs! This pumpkin will easily produce 300–500 lb. fruits. Pumpkins have rough skin and beautiful ribbing. The Atlantic Giant will grow at an astonishing pace if given adequate nutrients and spacing. Culture: Direct sow seed after soil has warmed, into rich, fertile soil in groups (hills) of 5–8 seeds. Thin to 2 or 3 strongest plants per group. Water regularly and fertilize when lateral runners begin to spread. Harvest: A full season pumpkin about 125 days. When skin is hard, cut from the vine with a 3″ (7.5 cm) piece of stem attached. Nutrition: Excellent source of vitamin A and potassium.
