The flowers make an interesting tea that is somewhat spicy and a bit bitter. Besides soups and stews, add to egg dishes, such as quiche or sprinkle the fresh petals on a salad. Even mix some into your favorite salsa for a little extra flavor. It attracts bees for pollination and keeps harmful insects away from other plants.
