Also known as Garden Lupine, native to western North America. It commonly grows along streams and creeks, preferring moist habitats. George Russell of York, England, bred Russell Hybrids Choice Mix, introduced it in 1937. Having spectacular sweet pea-like blossoms in a rainbow of shades. Lavender, blue, pink, red, white, yellow, and bi-colors are packed close together on long, graceful spikes. These eye-pleasing blooms will attract a wide range of beneficial insects to the garden, including butterflies, bumblebees, honeybees & hummingbirds.
