Culture: Peas do best in rich, light moisture retentive soil. Will not thrive in water logged or very dry soil. Early spring and/or early autumn plantings in the South. Vines do not need trellises. Resistant to diseases. Harvest: Thick well filled pods, thin shell. Snap young or shell at full maturity – 95 days. Nutrition: Good source of vitamin C and iron.
