This Grandiflora variety has large, pale pink flowers with intense fragrance. This is a famous old heirloom sweet pea that was first introduced by W. Atlee Burpee in 1903. An annual climbing plant, growing to a height 3 ft–6 ft, where suitable support is available. Culture: Sow seed outdoors in early spring in a sunny location into well drained fertile soil. Prior to sowing, soak seeds overnight to facilitate germination. Provide plenty of water. Mulch roots to keep them cool. They do best in cool weather and in hot climates where there is afternoon shade. Produces long stemmed cut flowers.
